And if you disable Survival and only survival and start a new game, it loads ok...?

Just tried that and it failed as well. I have to apologize for wasting your time. Got fixated on that skse error before I tried to single it out. It seems either LO or some other is the issue. :(

One last suggestion. Try disabling aroused nips and start a new game.

The last line in the log is from it.

One the one hand you disable the follower requirement but on the other you want a follower requirement? :P

How would it work? I mean at the moment the follower check is done at the gate. And at the moment the licence check is done.... at the gate. So there wouldn't be a lot of difference?

I think I communicated poorly. Or I don't actually understand what's currently working in the mod. I meant it like this: The follower requirement to leave the city is a little too strict for me, but the idea for a follower requirement to maintain a license is something that I find quite interesting. I know it probably seems a little arbitrary, but that's what I meant.

I only asked because I noticed that in one of your screenshots, it said that the license could be invalidated/revoked (parahrasing, something to that effect) if the license holder was a woman without an official escort, among other things (criminals, etc...). I didn't have time to test whether or not a guard will actually take your license away if you bought a license but don't have a follower; I just wanted to know if that was in the mod already, or just flavour text on the license.

Sorry for the mixup.

I understood you. For now it's just flavor text but I left it in there because I thought that:

1) you're already prevented from leaving the city without an escort, so it kind of fits in that way and

2) It could potentially link in with licences more directly which is what you're suggesting.

I'm just trying to tease out the mechanics of how it would work. Right now the way it works is that you can't pay the toll to leave without at least one follower. So what you're suggesting is that instead of preventing you from leaving without a follower that you'll be able to leave without a follower but if you haven't got a follower and you leave then you're licences are either revoked or destroyed. That the gist?

That's the gist, yes. I know that it's minor, and it wasn't really meant as a suggestion per se; I just wasn't sure if it was actually a separate feature. I kind of assumed that the license system would be a city thing, not a permanent duration thing. So looking at it now, having your license taking away for NOT having a follower seems kind of silly. Regardless, I for one wouldn't complain if it was made an optional feature later down the line, but it's your mod, not mine.

I think I've wasted enough of everyone's time on this for now. Best of luck with development until next time!

Is the new sleeping realism feature finished for iNeed? I don't have any serious problems with it, but some minor issues seem to be there. Thirst and hunger are working just fine, fatigue on the other hand seems to be kind of unreliable..

When I get to a point of getting the first debuff "Mild Fatigue", even after sleeping naked for 8 hours in an inn won't get me rid of this debuff (widget indicator remains red too). Only thing I get is "Well Rested" buff. Sometimes not even sleeping for another 8 hours makes it change.

PS: I don't have enough money to buy map & compas atm, but I have exactly opposite problem to what was mentioned in one of the previous posts - both map and compas are available all the time. I think it might have something to do with mods messing with UI, like SkyUI, iHUD etc.

Hmm, possibly. Try consoling yourself a map & compass, then drop it from your inventory and test is the map/compass working. To console yourself one:

help "map & compass"

player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

where xxxxxxxx is the number given from the help command.

The dodging the the license is a really cool idea as some cities have sneaky ways of getting inside.

I think a good balance for it so its not too annoying but also playable is to have a specific NPC patrol the city and have a X% chance to check if you in compliance.

Having an NPC walk around makes it more fun as theres a mechanic for evading rather than just "Oh no the system caught me"

This could also be a nice NPC to have wondering around just to harass you randomly in town.

If this NPC catches you without proper lic you instantly shackled or arrested but not thrown in prison rather taken into interrogation.

Only once in an interrogation room you can try to talk or work your way out.

Great :)

As for sleeping. Seems to work ok... for me. I'm not very familiar with ineed though.

I got myself to mildly fatigued and went for a nap in the bannered mare. Got back up to fully rested. No sign of the mildly fatigued debuff.

I will say one thing though. It's not very clear what the sleep penalty is so what I will try to do is add a notification when you open the sleep menu of what your sleeping conditions are like and what sort of penalty to expect.

Yep agree with this. I had a similar idea. One maybe 2 patrolling npcs + a checkpoint or 2 to keep things interesting. Maybe reduced patrols/checkpoints at night time.

I guess it just bugs out sometimes, it doesn't happen every time. I tried it twice just now and it worked. Perhaps I'll see a pattern in when it happens with time.

Well I tried to activate the sleeping bag by dropping it and then sneaking, but it seems I only get the option to pick it up again.

An option. Like a pop up menu?

There shouldn't be any pop up menu at all...

I have this aswell. Using iNeed. Sneaking and activating it only picks it up again. Do you need to have RND or Campfire for this to work?

Hmm yeah dunno what's going on with the map & compass, dropped it, re-enabled the feature, still had the map and compass functions. Fast traveled and it was still there. I've left the feature enabled and I have a map and compass, I'll try to see if I can get it to go later.

Found another couple of oddities, the bedroll from the Simply Knock scenario doesn't do anything. Tried pretty much anything I could think of to try but nada.

And when you're stripped either by DD event or the SK scenario (only times I've seen that kind of event so far), if you're wearing shoes they'll be dropped on the ground and you can't pick them up. Dunno if it's relevant but they both used HDT HH.

Another little issue is that because i use SWA, the vial payment method for the toll gives a bounty for drinking skooma in public.

Also another little idea/suggestion. Whenever there's a strip event it misses most slots, which if you have multipart armor mods or whatever it doesn't really "strip" much.

So maybe a strip slots config? Hopefully "unequipall" doesn't become the only option.

Ok, I will try to separate the map & compass functionality from the main script next as it seems to be giving people problem. That should hopefully make it more reliable.

Hmm. Don't think that's an issue with survival. Do the boots float in mid air or are they invisible? If so, it's a problem with the world model (mesh) on the armor itself. I've had similar problems in the past. I just changed the world model to be vanilla leather boots (because I can't model and I don't know what's wrong with the mesh). You can also disable dropping during strip events in the MCM. Should help.

Not sure what I can do about that... I stopped using SWA for the same reason. Do you know if there's a way to tell SWA to ignore the next skooma?

Ugh. Adding a ton of Mcm toggles isn't fun work. I'll put it on the long term goals for now. Remind me if I forget (I probably will).

Nope, model is fine. I can pick it up, move it around. Even tried a moveto player. No idea what causes it. Didn't see a toggle, but if there is one then that will work fine, thanks.

The only thing I see from the mod page that lists the bounty exceptions is places where the drugs are sold and "desperate purchases". It's not a big deal, just a kind of "this is a thing" if people came around asking about why they were getting bounties.

I remember a mod hooking into Sexlab to use it's strip system. Soulgem oven I think. Maybe that's an option since it's already a master?

Not sure I follow. You mean that outside of the SK scenario you can pick up the same shoes and grab them and move them around but only inside the SK scenario that those things don't work?

What exactly happens when you try to pick them up? You're not also wearing bondage mittens by any chance?

Hmm, maybe I can just stop the quest that's monitoring it.

Here's how it goes.

Knock > Ask to stay the night > Armbinder put on > Enter the house > Stripped (kinda) > Only the shoes/boots show up on the ground > Can't pick them up > Try to sleep (already addressed) > Ask to leave > Armbinder removed > Everything but the shoes/boots is returned and they're still on the ground > Kicked out > find a way back in or move the boots/shoes back to me > still can't pick them up.

I try to activate them (to pick up) and it just does nothing.

Hmm, I don't get it. Feet, hands, head slots are supposed to be dropped. And you're meant to pick up your stripped clothing yourself as sort of an added humiliation factor. Your body slot clothes go into your hosts inventory and you should automatically get them back when you leave. I'm not doing anything special with the dropped objects.

One last question. Does the usual prompt "Press 'E' to pick up' show up?

It's very odd.

It shows up the exact same as anything else you can pick up. It's not just one specific item, I've tried 2-3 different shoes. I have yet to see it drop the hands or head slot items, or even unequip them.

Interface scripts don't always install properly. Open up the mod archive and copy the appropriate ones from the Conditional and Active folders.

Thanks just a noob questions... Says Copy the files to the "Survival" Folder do you mean just the root skyrim data folder?

also for the active and conditional scripts do i put those in the skyrim/data/scripts directory?

EDIT: Nevermind this fixed it thanks, by the way in case other have an issues I did install the active and inactive scripts to the data/scripts directory. What happened is I probably installed those other mods after I installed SLS the first time.
