Ehh, would it be possible to ask for the RND and SL compatibility part only for their interactive functions alone?

Part of what I'm doing now is cutting the mod into more modular parts so they can be individually enabled/disabled. I've done a bit so far. There's still a lot left to untangle though.

I'm a vampire.. And that's a start..

Haven't progressed to werewolf/vampire status in many playthroughs now. Keep restarting before I can get that far. Mods keep them out of my reach - Enhanced Skyrim Factions (Werewolf) + Requiem (Vampire).

Look I'll think about it. But I definitively won't be looking at it anyway until after the patreon stuff is done. Keep posting ideas though ;)

How's my legal mumbo-jumbo? Probably needs more jumbo...

Well, will probably have different tiers.

500 gold - 1 week

1000 gold - 1 month

10000 gold - permanent

Of course you'll have to weigh the cost against the risk. Losing your permanent licence during defeat/robbery etc would be a real kick in the downstairs department.

I'm very excited to test out the new alpha version so that I can go back to using INeed for my needs mod.  However I seem to be having an issue with the FOMOD when trying to install this mod.  I'm using Mod Organizer 1 and haven't really had any issues with FOMODs in the past.  When I try to install the most recent version of SL Survival, the FOMOD launches and the first page opens with the only checkbox for Survival grayed out but checked.  However, the next page where I select needs and other mods are all grayed out, unchecked and I can't interact with them.  I definitely have several of them installed including iNeed, DD, Slaverun, and Frostfall.

I will try to install manually but I'm unsure which files to select.  There seem to be a "Conditional" section with all the interacting mods.  Would I only select the ones that I have installed or do I need the "InActive" parts for the mods that I don't have.

Thank you ever so much for considering it, I believe making it a modular mod will definitely make it more compatible with many other mods as well as allowing further customization. Great step there!

I missed your post somehow.

I use MO1 too. Survival stage being checked and greyed out is expected. Are the esps belonging to the optional mods enabled when you begin installing the FoMod? Eg: iNeed.esp, Frostfall.esp. The installer will check to make sure they are present and active. Otherwise they will be greyed out if they're not found.

They are definitely present and active.  I even started a new game with this new load order (minus SL Survival) and it loaded fine and the MCMs for those mods are shown.  Most of those mods have been in my load order for a long time anyway so I don't think that is an issue.  I'm starting to get concerned that there might be something wrong with my MO1 or maybe I've hit some kind of limit that I'm unaware of.  However I have less than 200 plugins loaded and other FOMODs seems to be working, so I'm not sure what is the issue.

Given the state of my MO (+1500 mods) I'd doubt that somehow.

Look anyway. If you want to install manually here's what you do.

1. Copy everything except the 'FoMod' and 'Conditionals' folders to your survival folder

2. Open up the conditionals folder and run down through them one by one as follows:

3. If you are using the optional mod, copy the scripts from the Active subfolder

4. If you are NOT using the optional mod, copy the scripts from the Inactive subfolder.

5. Job done.

You're not running all of those at the same time in same playthrough for Oldrim, are you? O.o

Of course not! Most of them are merged together :)

225 merged armor mods

111 merged weapon mods

142 merged follower mods

and a bunch more merged mods- gameplay mods, requiem patches, texture replacers, eyes, hair.......

you get the idea....

My load order is a finely balanced disaster waiting to happen ;)

Wow, didn't even know there were so many of them! I guess though with MWA you get through your armors and weapons pretty fast tho. ?

I think I will have to look into merging and learning it myself.

What are the biggest and most important changes from vanilla follower that you can think off the top of your head?

They're not ugly? Though I guess Bijin's got that covered. I'm not big on super custom followers as they tend to be... 'conflicty'

Sophia is funny. For a while anyway.

I found that Botox for Skyrim solved ugliness for Skyrim women quite well. With the mods I have they are not barbie dolls or 20-layers-of-makeup supermodels or the empty-face Japanese elf or the pixy/little girl type (shudder,  then puke), but they are plenty enough attractive adult women for my taste.

Are you using DDx or just DDi?

Then there's the matter of sleeping bag, can't seem to be able to use it even if tried through the inventory.

Did you drop, sneak and activate?

Thank you!  I'll try out the manual installation for now just to see how the mod works.  I'd like to see if I can resolve the FOMOD issue but I'm not entirely sure how else to test it going forward.  I tried to re-download the file and also tried the v0.300 alpha version but had the same issues.

Are there any error messages in the bottom window of MO?

Is your skyrim installed in the program files directory? Might be a permissions issue.

No errors:   The only messages in the bottom window say:

simple expression matched, using name only

passed mod id: 0, guessed id: -1

using mod name "Sexlab" (id 0) -> *location on my hard drive*

Skyrim is installed in the normal Steam apps folder on a separate drive from my OS so i don't think that is an issue.  I do have my MO installed in the Skyrim folder as well.  I don't think that is a problem?

Mmm well I don't think it would be the best place for it but as long as it's not in the Data folder it probably shouldn't be a problem. Probably.

Sorry but I can't think of anything else at the moment. Anyone else having problems with the FoMod?

I think I used both, can't say now my SSD needs to be formatted ☠️

Problem solved, I had the missing soft interface error  for DD, Ineed and pay so manually passing the scripts and restarting the interface on MCM after load game fixed it.

No I did not try that with the sleeping bag.

I know someone already mentioned this but it would be nice to have the armbinder replacer (ropes) instead of the old gargantuan one

I use the High security armbinder so that you can't struggle out of it. Maybe I'll do something about it later if there's a way to detect when you struggle so that your host can intervene.

Day 3.  Starving to death.  Vow of nudity in the name of Dibella not okay with the locals (times changed since Daggerfall).  What would Bear Grylls do?  Drink piss.  The piss mod is weird tho :( .  Then what would Crassius Curio do?

*spear polishing intensifies*

Life hack.
