But Highwayman it's not yet done (I mean it is done (all the art and animations)but not available (yet) If I get my hands in the art I'll throw it here?

so making animations for characters in dd turned out to be way simpler than i thought, which means ill be able to implement fully modular skins so that just by cutting and pasting onto pngs and trimming them everyone should be able to customize them to their liking. dats pretty cooooollll. That also means that it will be very easy for me to make some enemies into playable classes, only if i will be able to spend significant amounts of patience on figuring out the spaghetti that is inner workings of the game.

 

in spolier is shown an edited animation with whole new moving objects, still looks a bit shit but i'll be able to smooth out movements without much trouble.

Changing a character's size is only possible by messing with the anim files? I've done it this way before (and only for mosters) without issues, but now I tried Lilith and all I'm getting is the big white square every-single-time

Hello folks,

 

i am trying Lustiest Lair atm. Since the thread here isn´t very activ may i ask here for a bit of advice on enemies, one in particular.

 

How to beat the "Blasphemous Priestress" ? Everone else i could figure out.

 

Got here to 0 health, but she didnt die. Gargoyle heald here then and i whiped.


Gargoyle didn´t get any damage at all since defence is extremly high, there for i thought it had to be ignored.

Here a small edit of the NPC Guild from origninaly made by Xelsword. You can find 6 variation with both hidden and visible eye.

- Clothed no pantie

- Clothed Toppless
- Clothed Toppless + nipple piercing

- Clothed Toppless + no pantie

- Clothed Toppless + no pantie + nipple piercing

- Nude nipple piercing

I have only beat her on the entry level dungeon and I too struggled with it and avoided her at all cost lol. The Blasphemous Priestess is a mix of the Swine King and the Hag. While the Gargoyle has their hands free do not touch the Priestess, she will respond and give him extra actions/buffs. Buff up, heal, and chill, maybe chip away at the gargoyle to burn time. As soon as the Gargoyle begins fucking one of your heroes jump on the Priestess and lay in the damage asap. 

In terms of team comp, bring heroes that hit hard. I defeated her with a Vestal, Jester, Highwayman, and Leper. Leper ended up getting fucked while the Highwayman and Jester crit the Priestess to death. I built for stun resist on the front line because that double stun from the Gargoyle is nasty. 

Good Luck- try to do it with a group that has room for pregnancies and quirks because the priestess has some fantastic benefits and trinkets that are locked behind her fight.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to take this tedious task. I would do it one by one to be polite  but i've got a long break ahead and a lotta work for a while so i don't know if i could ask dripping style so i decided to just ask all at once so i could get back into DD for the summer.

I'm guessing it's because I had to rename the files (defend was previously defendC, combat was combat2, dead was camp), I didn't see anything in the art.darkest files to define what's used for the dead, defend and combat animations so I was thinking that those are defined elsewhere. And I did rename png that the .atlas file had listed for the animation.

 

Is there anyone that could assist me or give me a couple pointers on how to get these changed correctly? Attached is what I've got so far.

Don't rename the .PNGs ever.

Scourge does seem to be weird for no reason. It means the usual transformation override doesn't work, but converting the skeletons and editing the names does.

...Also you have a modfiles.txt, why, mods don't need that and it breaks shit.

...Side note, good idea. Might replace Anaertailin's work on my install. But what to replace the other bandits with...?
