Beverley Hills Friends (Early Access; Free on August 1st)

 

One of my oldest sim households got a makeover! They began living together in the Foundry Cove neighborhood of Willow Creek before moving out west to Del Sol Valley. Their dynamic is based on that of the cast from the show, Friends.

 

Alfonso DiNatale (can use heartbreaker trait from Chingy, if you prefer)

As the womanizer and heartbreaker of the group, Alfonso is no stranger to the nightlife. I never assigned him a real job as I always thought him to be more of a free-spirit. He does have the unassuming skill of being a fantastic painter, much to the surprise of his roommates.

 

He has the makings of being a reality-tv star given his personality and his nature with the ladies. Any social setting you can think of, Alfonso has been there. The beach? Yep. The Club? Bottles are on him. Headed to the VIP lounge? Drop his name upon arrival. As a result of his social nature, he has endeared himself to many kinds of people, the majority of whom are of the female variety.

 

 

He rubs shoulders with many celebrities in Del Sol such as actors, musicians and tv stars which has afforded him opportunities to cameo in different projects.

 

Alfonso has had flings with his roommate Eva due to the latter’s schedule being incompatible with romance and dating.

 

Glen McAvoy

Glen is a college friend of Alfonso with the two having moved in together after school. He is career-oriented, having reached the pinnacle of the finance career. He has a beautiful girlfriend, Alex, a great social life with friends, and a home with 4 of his best friends. However, his career has begun to take the majority of his attention (mo’ money, more problems, am I right?). Lately, he spends more time in the office in order to meet deadlines when he would much rather go to sporting events with his friends or be traveling with his girl.

 

Glen and Alfonso are good friends with Andreas and his girlfriend, Mulan, having met the couple upon moving to Del Sol.

Can Glen healthily balance his work life with his social life? Or will his career pull him farther away from his best friends?

 

 

Alex Yeager

Alex is the girlfriend of Glen and newest member of Beverly Hills Friends. Passionate about music, she began her journey by mixing tracks in her room while working at The Solar Lounge in Oasis Springs. She and Glen actually met for the first time when she was on shift. After gaining traction with her music, she quit her part time job and began producing full time. She has since performed with A-list acts like Dua Lipa as well as headlined her own show! The sky is the limit for this independent producer as she currently has several offers from music labels vying for her signature on a contract.

 

She and Glen have been in an exclusive relationship for nearly two years. However, given their meteoric rise in both of their careers, they have become increasingly separated from each other and their friends. Will their relationship be able to survive their individual success?

 

 

Natasha Ilyasova

Natasha met her friend, Eva, as an exchange student in college where she studied journalism. She has since gone on to contribute opinion pieces to various media outlets in Willow Creek and now Del Sol. Romantically, she is your stereotypical hopeless romantic, trying to balance her career with navigating the dating landscape. While she hasn’t had much luck in this department, she continuously goes out with interesting people across Del Sol.

 

She is an avid soccer fan and enjoys wine tasting and drinking vodka during social gatherings with the house.

 

 

Eva Morales

Eva is a rising star in the Entertainment industry, having rapidly ascended the industry as an actress. She is highly sought after because of her stylish looks and her flexibility to tackle multiple roles. Her success has generated increased attention from the media, which has caused Eva to develop anxiety issues. As a result, she has taken certain drugs, such as Xanax, to cope with her success and interactions with the media.

 

 

Her line of work has allowed her to meet various all-star celebrities, many of whom are her friends. Given her hectic schedule, she doesn’t have much time to date; therefore, she fraternizes with her cohorts in the entertainment industry. She is good friends with Partihaus, particularly, Jade Rosa. She has even had a fling with her roommate and friend, Alfonso, who she sees as her ‘stress reliever’. Is there something more to uncover?

 

 

While she has embraced her success, she is not fond of the increased media scrutiny that has accompanied it. How will she deal with her newfound fame?

I haven't thought about it, but there aren't many sims that I've "borrowed" as the sims that I publish are original.  I do specify which sims were uploaded by another simmer - to my memory there is only one household that falls under this category.

Open Arms Hotel (Early Access; Free on September 3rd)

 

The hotel is meant to be a rendezvous for the patrons and dancers of the neighboring Puddin' and Pie Strip Club. You can also run this as a bar or restaurant!

 

I built this on a 40 x 30 lot, but it should fit on a slightly smaller lot.

 

Be sure to enter cheats "bb.showhiddenobjects" and "bb.showliveeditobjects" before placing.

 

Would recommend dimming lights in the various rooms to enhance playing experience.  Was too lazy to go in-game to do so lol.

Marie McClain

Marie is the oldest and one of the most acclaimed actresses in the biz.  She's is a country girl, spending her childhood on her family's farm before making her way out to Del Sol in pursuit of an acting career.  She is an expert bartender and still keeps up with the younger girls on the scene, both socially and professionally.  She has starred in over 100 films carving out a niche as a dominating, MILF-type actress.

A Filipina born in Willow Creek, Michaela and her family moved to Oasis Springs when she was in middle school.  After graduating high school, she moved out from home to Del Sol, where she met her best friend, Kyra Castellanos, who encouraged her to get in the adult industry.  From there, both Michaela and Kyra have exploded onto the scene and have gained connections that allow them to enter any party or club they desire.

Kyra hails from Russian-Greek lineage and has spent the majority of her life in Del Sol.  She started webcamming when she was in college after being introduced to the hobby by her roommate. It was here where Kyra realized the power of her sexuality and transitioned into adult entertainment.  Whether at parties or clubs, Kyra loves to socialize with her contemporaries and isn't afraid to get frisky in public.  She is best friends and roommates with Michaela.

Kelsi is good friends with Sophia.

Quiet, gentle and a lover of magic, Sophia has both the personality and looks to be successful in the industry.  She enjoys traveling and spends her time in the sun with her friend, Kelsi.  Despite her success and gorgeous looks, she probably has the most relaxed approach to her brand as an adult actress, relative to the other girls.  This has enabled her to focus on other hobbies such as cinema and dance when she isn't hitting up the town with her girl friends.

Maximo Scarpetti (Early Access; Free on April 23rd)

 

 

“Scopes” Scarpetti served with Vito Scaletta starting from their deployment in Italy to the Battle of the Bulge before the latter was honorably discharged due to an injury.  Described by Vito as “the best shot in our company”, Scopes was the squad sniper with over 15 confirmed kills during the invasion of Normandy alone.

 

While he has a calm exterior, Scopes maintains a fiery temper that comes out if he is pushed enough.  As a renowned story-teller and cook, Scopes Scarpetti has endeared himself to Vito and earned a role within the latter’s “inner sanctum”.

The Caliente Family (Reimagined; Free May 25th)

 

A twist of a familiar household! This time, however, we are mixing some Sims 2 lore into the equation. You see, when she was a young adult, Katrina Caliente had an affair with corporate magnate, Florian Nestor (Caliente family tree). As a result of the affair, Katrina became pregnant with twins, Dina and Nina. Married and directly in the public eye, Florian broke things off with Katrina, sacrificing his relationship with his mistress and two daughters. At least, he kept things discreetly hidden from his wife, who has long since passed away.

 

Katrina has made ends meet as a single mother and her two daughters now have their own lives as they still support their mother financially. Dina has met the womanizing Don Lothario, who spends his time as a weightlifting self-help guru and podcaster. The twist - Don has had his eye on Dina's sister, Nina, who secretly reciprocates his lust. Perhaps the sexual tension is more appealing than the actual idea of a relationship.

 

What neither of the sisters - or Don, for that matter - knows is that Katrina has also had an eye on the younger Don Lothario. She hasn't had a committed relationship since her torrid affair with Florian nearly 25 years ago. She could use a reminder of how to feel youthful and sexy and the macho Don could be just what the doctor ordered - if, she can navigate around her twin daughters.

Ward's Outdoor Gym

 

I wanted to create a training center to replace "Movers and Shakers" in Willow Creek. However, I watched a clip of GTA V and thought to create an outdoor gym similar to Venice Beach in California. So, I compromised and developed this facility in Del Sol. This would replace Ward's Park (hence the name).

 

In the case of inclement weather, you could build full walls and create a more "garage-like" atmosphere with door ways as opposed to traditional entrances and exits. This lot should also look appropriate in the Movers and Shakers lot in Willow Creek.

 

And yes, the machines and barbells are functional! The pull-up racks are also functional thanks to the included mod within the zip file.

I added three additional shells, one of which I envisioned to be a dispensary. There is some contraband sitting in the building closest to Ammunation in which you can create your own dispensary.

 

Suggestions for the other stores should you decide to build there: cafe, athletic retail store, mini-mart/convenience store.

 

Enable bb.moveobjects on, bb.showliveeditobjects, bb.showhiddenobjects cheats before placing this 40 x 30 lot.
