Mesh invisible in CK and ingame

Recommended Posts

I am trying to import a head mesh into the game as a helmet, but I am struggling to get the mesh to show up in the Creation Kit and ingame. The mesh shows up just fine in NifSkope, but my knowledge about these things is very limited, so I don't know what might be causing it to be invisible in-game. If someone can explain why it is invisible or could take a look at the file, I'd be forever grateful.

Many thanks

Looks like a partition issue. Your NIF thinks its hair location 31

I think heads are 230? Not too sure outfits are more my specialty not body parts... But they are kind of the same...

In any case CK will tell you what partition it is looking for it to be, just change that in something like Outfit studio and it should work.

That got it working! Thank you ever so much, you have no idea how long I've struggled with this. You absolute legend. Had to snap a fast photo for you, even though the mesh apparently needs some more editing. Thanks again.

Cheers
