Smithing

[Dorabella]

I noticed that for some time now it has not been possible for me to use the Smithing skill. Obviously it is no longer possible for me to improve weapons / armor. Any suggestion?

No, I did not try it before installing it, at the first CTD , Papyrus signaled me the lack of  SurvivalistIngenuity.esp .

Does it create race restrictions or does it work equally without distinction?

It is right for clarification, for my naked gameplay it is of little importance, Dibella Blessing  thinks about making up for any penalties due to other mods .

Being the only restriction I noticed, it seemed unusual / strange to me

My guess:

Dibella's Blessing overwrites/prevents the rise of light/heavy armor skill?

If Survivalist Ingenuity limits the progress of Smithing related to your armor skills it won't be able to progress.

 

or

Dibella's Belessing skill progress limitation conflicts with Survivalist Ingenuity

 

or will only find out for sure by knowing what those mods do on their own in detail

or by removing one for testing

 

if removing of SI causes CTD on a running game you could make a backup of your save and test the modified LO on a new game

if your using MO you could make a new profile for testing

Light / heavy / smithing skills work well. Furthermore, using naked gameplay the only skill development is Smithing (for weapons), Enchanting (for clothes / armor / accessories) .

I also made changes to the armor and / or accessories, making sure I could take advantage of it
Streaker Perk esp (allows some skill variables as long as the character is completely naked : No helmets, gloves, boots, armor) set on gameplay. For this variable I used TESV5Edit and transformed the clothes into accessories (removal of the armor rating, changed the type of armor transforming it into Clothing ) these variables never created problems in skill development .

They automatically improve along with the Speech skill . Each value skill level, I can add an improvement from the mod list and this improvement will constantly increase along with the PG level .

I can clearly see on the screenshot that the handwork skill works on your body right now! ?

I mean after removing one of the possible culprit you could test on a new game if the blocked skill tree is still blocked to find out what mod modifies it.

Has nothing to do with LOOT.

 

You can also check the mods that might block the skill tree in TESVedit.

Check the conditions that are set by those mods to make progress in that skill tree.

For example if it is lvl based or if another skill needs to be risen first or whatever a handwork skill is ?

Seen in this way it works, but by opening the skill tree it is not possible to make improvements . Is SurvivalistIngenuity.esp  that blocks my progress, once the ESP is turned off everything returns to normal, but so I lose other advantages of the mod .

Then you should focus on Skyrim Improved.

Open it in TESVedit and check the conditions that are needed to be met to distribute a perk point.

 

Also it might be possible that Skyrim Improved doesn't support the smiting skill tree in the usual way?

Handwork Skill (formerly Smithing):

Primary perk tree is about Smithing. It splits up all materials to its own perks and increases smithing difficulty, specially when starting a new game. You're not allowed to smelt ores without choosing appropriate perks. Light and heavy armor is split up into two seperate branches. All recipes at forges and tanning racks have their appropriate perks allocated. So at the start of the game all you can craft is some basic wooden items and nails.

1. Basic Tanning: Able to tan leather at leather racks, craft more wooden items, create hide armor and improve it twice as much.
2. Advanced Tanning: Can create fur armor at forges, and improve it twice as much.
3. Superior Tanning: Can create leather and banded iron armor at forges, and improve it twice as much.
4. Basic Metallurgist: Can smelt iron, corundum, gold, silver and quicksilver ores to ingots and make steel ingots.
5. Advanced Metallurgist: Can smelt malachite, moonstone, orichalcum and ebony ore to ingots and make dwarven ingots.
6. Blacksmith: Can create iron, studded, stormcloak, falmer and draugr armor and weapons at forges, and improve it twice as much.

The secondary tree handles Unarmed Combat. The tree is split up into unarmed combat during brawls, and martial art to allow roleplaying monks. There's a perk that allows you to sneak upon enemies and knock them over form behind if you stay unseen. In difference to 'ordinary' paralyze, you will then be allowed to strip your targets inventory. Unarmed combat will increase the Handwork skill just as smithing did in vanilla Skyrim.

1. Way of the Fist (5 ranks): Unarmed attacks do +5 damage.
2. Powerfirst (3 ranks): Unarmed powerattacks do double +5 damage.
3. Liver Chop: 25% chance to nullifie your targets stamina in unarmed combat and brawls.
4. Pine Hook: 25% chance to paralyze your target when power attacking with right hand and not sneaking. Not working during brawls.
5. Knockout: Knock your target unconscious when sneaking undetected and attacking with your right hand from behind.
6. Standing Fist: Reduce incoming damage by 50% during brawls.
7. Tenacious B: Swiftly regenerate Stamina during Brawls.
8. Brawl Master: 10% chance to beat your enemies with one hit during brawls when power attacking.

 

And you could just ask on the Nexus mod page for... oh you can't o.o
