Hi. I'm trying to make the string part of the following armor look like it is going from point A to point B without being attracted to point C.

Any hemp would be greaty appreciated!

I'm no expert on this stuff but since no one else has answered I will do what I can to help you out.

Ok so in outfit studio on the right hand side you should see any pieces of the outfit listed click on the outfit piece.1701716491_example1.PNG.a715b9644cc24b39fd0c625b2607ab36.PNG

Now at the top of the render window there is a little pencil like icon. Click this to show the verticles of the outfit.658744475_example2.PNG.76390257c04de68cd789d614544f2b3b.PNG

Also this option will mirror what ever you do so if you don't want it to then be sure to turn this off.1255218371_example3.PNG.3a12014954ca927d81b5a0c147f0452c.PNG

With the verticles now showing use this option to mask the ones you want to alter (to pull away from the body). When they have been masked hit CTRL I this will invert your selection so the red colored verticles become green and the green become red.

Now click on this button to get the ability to pull the verticles away from the body. Adjust the brush size to your liking so you can pull a single one at a time or a group of them at once. 1903310519_example5.PNG.e08df9c8f18f02f5dc01a0c186f8644c.PNG

You can use these options to increase or decrease mesh volume to help smooth it out from the above step. Again adjust brush size accordingly. Also you can adjust the brush strength to increase or decrease the impact of how much adjusting these 2 options will do when smoothing out any oddities to make it look right.

Now save the outfit and be sure you build it in bodyslide or the changes made wont take affect.

While you didn't exactly help me for this specific task, you helped me understand outfit studio much better. I was able to apply the mask then invert it (saved me time from masking everything else lol), then idk why I never noticed but I was able to manually edit individual sliders so I just tried tweaking around different body shapes to have a consistently good looking armor.

Thank you a lot!
